Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theatre firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. She was also the producer of costumes/sets as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. Though she typically led within her acting ensemble, in her last year as an actor in SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
