Annet Mahendru
Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and an Indian father and a Russian mom. When she was 11, she created a choreography which earned her a spot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden, who turns into an energetic Indian dancer. She graduated from high school with a degree in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She studied acting classes with the HB Studios. However, she left to pursue improvisational comedy at the Groundlings School. Her story began at the age of 13 in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). When she was 13, her parents divorced and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. Her role was a regular one in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
